Joe Hart set to leave Manchester City

Hart was overlooked by boss Pep Guardiola for the 2-1 Premier League win at Sunderland last Saturday, prompting a fresh wave of speculation that his City future hangs in the balance.
City are thought to have all but agreed a deal to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and Sky Sports News HQ reporter Vinny O'Connor says Hart's days in Manchester look to be numbered.

"There is reported interest from Sevilla in Spain but I think the preferred option would be to remain in the Premier League, and to that end, Everton could possibly be an option.

"Certainly, Everton are looking to bolster their goalkeeping ranks further following the acquisition of Maarten Stekelenburg, who made a decent debut against Spurs at the weekend, but Everton are looking for an established number one and [would be] interested in someone of the calibre of Joe Hart.

UEFA considers changing format of Champions League in favour of top teams

UEFA's club competition committee is considering a variety of options to revamp the competition in order to ward off the threat of a breakaway Super League by some of Europe's leading clubs.

Allowing four clubs from the four leading leagues to qualify automatically for the Champions League is just one of the options which is being discussed.
Changes are likely to be introduced  for the next three-year cycle of European club competitions from 2018-2021.

Many clubs have expressed concerns - primarily through the European Clubs' Association (ECA) - about the qualifying criteria and format of UEFA club competitions.
This season leading clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and AC Milan are missing out on the revenue generated by playing in the Champions League.
UEFA has held several meetings with key stakeholders over the past few months to discuss the future of its club competitions and listen to the feedback of all of those involved.

The feedback from the consultations, together with proposals for a way forward, will be submitted to the clubs before the ECA general assembly in Geneva on 5-6 September.
The proposals will then be discussed at an Extraordinary UEFA Congress in Athens on September 14-15, where a new UEFA president will be elected to replace Michel Platini.

Cesc Fabregas keen to stay at Chelsea

The midfielder was left on the substitutes' bench for the entirety of Chelsea's 2-1 opening day victory over London rivals West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Monday Night Football.
On Tuesday, reports in the national press linked Fabregas with a move away from Chelsea with Real Madrid, Juventus and former club Barcelona mooted as potential suitors.

But following the win over the Hammers, Conte insisted Fabregas had a future at Chelsea and Sky sources understand the 29-year-old is keen to prove his worth under the Italian.
Conte said: "Cesc is Chelsea's player, and I'm happy about him, with his attitude and behaviour.
"He must know from before that when we are a great team like Chelsea it can happen that I have to take a decision before the game to choose a starting XI.
"That can happen that Fabregas is not in the starting XI, but it can happen for all the players. It's important to see always the right attitude. Because we must fight this season and it's important to stay together in every situation."
